The Person You’ll Be Working With
My name is Manmeet Duggal, and I run Meet Software Solutions.
I’ve spent the last decade building software that takes repetitive work out of people’s days. I started out writing software robots for large enterprises — systems that log into applications, move information between them, and finish routine tasks without anyone touching a keyboard. One of those projects cut a routine customer request from thirty minutes of manual work down to ten. Another pulled twelve separate applications into a single automated workflow.
I came to Canada in 2019, and since 2020 my work has been with smaller organisations — the kind where one person is quietly holding the whole technology setup together. That has meant customer databases, moving data out of one system and into another without losing any of it, websites, cloud administration, and connecting tools that were never designed to talk to each other.
I have worked in Microsoft 365 security and administration since 2019, and I work in quality assurance day to day. That second part matters more than it sounds: my instinct is to ask what happens when something goes wrong, not just whether it works on a good day.
It is also why the recommendation isn’t always to build something new. More often the fastest result comes from correcting a setting, connecting two systems you already pay for, or removing a step nobody actually needed.
How I Work
- I look at how the work actually happens before recommending any software.
- You get plain language. If I can’t explain it without jargon, I don’t understand it well enough yet.
- Scope and price are agreed before the work starts, so there are no surprise invoices.
- Everything is in your name — accounts, licences and data belong to you, not to me.
- You deal with me directly from first call to finished work. No handoffs to someone you’ve never spoken to.
- If the honest answer is that you don’t need what you asked for, I will tell you that.
